Verified host path

Deploy with Codex

Use the PocketBay Plugin, MCP, Skill, and Stop Hook path when your Codex entry supports plugins. Codex IDE can use Skill + MCP or CLI.

Install and deploy

  1. Install or enable the PocketBay Plugin when your Codex entry supports it.
  2. Keep the PocketBay MCP server available as pocketbay-mcp.
  3. Send the one-line deployment prompt and approve the browser pairing page.
  4. The Agent uses start_deploy_job, then get_deploy_job or get_active_deploy_job to follow the job.
  5. Use CLI fallback when the host does not support the Plugin path.

Agent-facing tools

start_deploy_job → get_deploy_job → get_active_deploy_job → start_update_job

MCP config

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "pocketbay": {
      "command": "pocketbay-mcp"
    }
  }
}

Every host ultimately reuses the same PocketBay CLI, MCP server, and deployment protocol.
